This has led to the upgrade of Opera Cloud to its latest available version.
For the past few weeks, Mastel Hospitality has been supporting Soneva in reviewing and optimising the configuration of this new and updated environment. Through a series of online sessions, our senior consultants have provided their extensive knowledge in the hospitality industry to help achieve the best results in using Opera Cloud. As a second phase of the project, our team is preparing to travel to Soneva Fushi and Soneva Jani in the Maldives to train the onsite teams on the latest features and monitor the system going live.
By utilising Opera Cloud to its fullest, hoteliers can improve their guest experience. For example, a guest who requested an extra pillow during a previous stay will be pleasantly surprised to find an extra pillow already in their room upon arrival of their next stay.
This also extends to guest preferences such as food requirements, dietary restrictions and special requests. Furthermore, staff will have the autonomy to find important guest information without losing time reaching out to other departments. All information is stored in the cloud and accessible depending on access rights.
The new version of Opera Cloud also introduces the programming of End of Day reports, automatically distributing them to heads of departments. This gives the Night Auditor more time to focus on client-related tasks while conserving the use of paper and printed reports.
